NYC City Hall Elopement

This is a classic New York City love story - two beautiful people from different backgrounds and cultures who found each other against all the odds. Aleksandra and Ahad’s elopement in New York City was one for the books. With covid restrictions still in place, only the two of them and a witness (Aleksandra’s beautiful sister) were allowed in the marriage bureau for the ceremony. But, we wasted no time celebrating as they walked out husband and wife!

Wanting to keep their celebration intimate, family joined them for a few photos in Central Park and then dinner. But even with intimate gatherings, not everything always goes according to plan. So, that morning when their driver called and was having maintenance issues, plans were adjusted. Ahad and Aleksandra gracefully rolled with all the changes and savored every moment strolling through the park just the two of them.

Ahad paid homage to his Pakistani heritage and wore a traditional sherwani while Aleksandra donned a floral Marchesa gown. La Catrina in Dumbo put together the most beautiful bouquet that so perfectly complemented Aleksandra’s look.

They also received an original wedding day poem as they walked through the park.
