Why Get A Wedding Album?

When I say that I know what it feels like, it 100% comes from a real, honest to goodness, no way around it place. I remember being a bride, being inundated with decisions to be made about our wedding and feeling like there was just too much to choose from. I so get it! But one choice that should've been a no-brainer was getting a wedding album. Hold up, maybe I should back up and do some explaining!

Growing up, I remember my parent's dark leather wedding album trimmed with gold being tucked in their nightstand. When I first discovered it (snooping through my parent's room - sorry, mom) I was fascinated by the images of my parents, their friends, my grandparents, the style, etc. My parents, still happily in love, were young once, I remember thinking (once again, sorry mom).

When it came time for me to get married, those pictures were so vivid in my mind as the definition of the legacy of love embodied by my parents. So much so that I decided to wear my mom's wedding dress because it just felt right. So, to me, that album is not just full of photos, it is a testament to a lifelong commitment and the legacy of love my parents have made. And aside from a couple negatives, those are the only photos from my parent's wedding that still exist!

When it comes to your wedding album, that's exactly how I think of it - the tangible testament of your vows shown in timeless images. That's why so much care is taken in their design and craftsmanship (and they're all handmade in Indianapolis)!

So, when you think of your wedding album, it's easy to just see it as another choice to be made in the wedding planning process, but I would encourage to see it as so much more than that. And speaking as someone who once viewed it that way, I know that I would have more regret if I didn't have one than if I did!

If your wedding is the beginning of lifelong legacy of love for you, your family, your friends (and spoiler alert, I really believe it will be) then why not take photos off the computer where they will collect virtual dust and pull them into reality where they can be treasured for decades? I promise you this, you won't regret it and I'm forever grateful that my parents let those memories live on in an album.
