Aspen Sailcloth Tent Wedding Editorial at T Lazy 7 Ranch
This tented wedding inspiration at T Lazy 7 Ranch in Aspen, Colorado was designed by Britt Jones Co. to embrace the natural beauty of the mountain west. The main color palette utilized consisted of shades of yellow, green, and brown. Yellow was a staple color to this design due to the seasonality of the dandelion bloom. All throughout Aspen in May, you can find lush fields of dandelions which will leave you singing one of two Tiktok songs - “Yellow” by Coldplay or “Dandelions” by Ruth B. Green was used to play off the natural landscape of green grasses, evergreen trees, and the lushness of a Colorado summer. Lastly, brown served a perfect accent color to bring out in materials like wood, cane, and leather. Each of these colors worked together to formulate a vision that was organic and wild yet refined.
To further complete the vision, Gather Floral designed arrangements and installations that kept the same textures and color palette to the landscape. The goal was to feel like the outdoors was being brought indoors even though we had the coverage of the sailcloth tent. The bride wore a clean cut strapless Sareh Nouri gown with soft tulle sleeves up her forearms and the groom wore a mustard yellow suit jacket paired with black pants. The bride wore her hair half up/half down and had soft, natural makeup to compliment the simple yet statement look. Both of their looks were selected to appeal to the color palette and concept of getting married in a meadow surrounded by the Maroon Bells.
